All new drivers must go through the Graduated Driver Licensing Program to receive a Yukon Driver’s License. You must be at least 15 years old and pass a signed and written examination to enter the program and also pass a vision test. You’re going to have to complete three phases: the GDLP learner, the beginner and the full driver phase.

$20 is the written cost for the assessment. You will pick it up the next day for a different fee if you don’t pass it. After you have passed the written exam, you can take the vision test and get your trainer’s certificate.
