The PEI Learner’s (Beginner’s) License must be obtained for someone who wants to get a PEI Driver’s License and is a beginner driver (who has never held a Driver’s License before). You must obey the three-year Graduated Driver Licensing Program in Prince Edward Island before you are issued a Class 5 driver’s license.

You must first receive your Driver’s Instruction Permit. To apply for your Instruction Driver’s Permit, you must be 16 years old or older (Class 7 licence). There are some driving practice tests below which will help you passing the driving knowledge exam 2021 on first chance. Once you’ve start passing the knowledge exam, you’ll be ready for the final step: your PEI road test.
